Little Mountain, Vancouver : ウィキペディア英語版
Little Mountain (British Columbia)

Little Mountain, elev. 127m, is a mountain in the central part of the city of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.〔(BC Names entry "Little Mountain (mountain)" )〕 It is best known as the location of Queen Elizabeth Park and Nat Bailey Stadium, but as a name is also used for the surrounding neighbourhood and, occasionally, in the name of electoral districts (e.g. Vancouver-Little Mountain, which is defunct).
Little Mountain is a volcanic formation which was at one time mined for its granitic basalts. The old quarry on the mountain is now a public garden, Queen Elizabeth Park, which also features the Bloedel Floral Conservatory — a large geodesic domed structure that houses an extensive indoor tropical garden — home to a variety of exotic birds, fish and small mammals.
